1. Services
Chelsea Cleans provides residential cleaning services in West End Edmonton, Alberta. Services include weekly, bi-weekly, move-in/move-out, and post-renovation cleaning.
All services are performed by Chelsea personally. I do not subcontract work.
2. Booking
Submitting a booking form through ch-cleans.ca is a request, not a confirmed appointment. I'll review your request and confirm by email within 24 hours.
A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email from info@ch-cleans.ca.
3. Pricing
All current prices are listed at ch-cleans.ca. Prices may change with 30 days written notice to recurring clients. One-time services are priced at the rate displayed at time of booking.
4. Payment
- Method: e-Transfer to info@ch-cleans.ca
- Due: Within 24 hours of completed service
- Late payments: Subject to 5% weekly fee after 7 days
- Non-payment: Service will be suspended after 14 days. Outstanding balances may be referred to collections.
5. Cancellation
The full Cancellation Policy is available at ch-cleans.ca/cancellation and is incorporated into these terms by reference.
Summary: 48+ hours notice = free reschedule. Under 48 hours = fees apply. No-shows = full charge.
6. Access & Security
You are responsible for providing safe, reliable access to your home, including working entry codes or keys, alarm system codes, securing pets, and ensuring a clear path to all areas to be cleaned.
I will treat your access information as strictly confidential.
7. Satisfaction
If any aspect of a clean doesn't meet your expectations, contact me within 24 hours at info@ch-cleans.ca. I'll return to address the specific concern at no additional charge.
Claims made after 24 hours, or requests to redo an entire clean, are not covered under this policy.
8. Liability
Chelsea Cleans carries $2,000,000 in commercial general liability insurance.
- Accidental damage: I will report any breakage immediately. Liability is limited to the lesser of the item's fair market value or the cost of the service that day.
- Not liable for: Pre-existing damage, normal wear, improperly secured items, items not disclosed as fragile or valuable, damage caused by pets, or damage from client-provided products.
- Maximum liability: Shall not exceed the cost of the service performed on the date of the incident.
9. Refusal of Service
I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service for any reason, including unsafe conditions, harassment, repeated non-payment, repeated lockouts, or conditions materially different from what was described at booking.
10. Health & Safety
I will not perform work in conditions that present a health or safety risk, including mold or asbestos exposure, pest infestation, structural hazards, or biohazardous materials. If I encounter these conditions, I'll stop work, notify you, and charge for time already spent.
11. Privacy
I collect your name, email, address, and access information solely to deliver cleaning services. I will never sell, share, or disclose your information to third parties except as required by law.
I may photograph completed work for quality assurance or portfolio purposes. No photos containing identifying information will be published without your written consent.
12. Changes to Terms
I may update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted to ch-cleans.ca. Recurring clients will be notified by email of material changes with 30 days notice.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alberta.
